The Patrick J. Morgan Cultural Center
The Patrick J. Mogan Cultural Center has been open since 1989 with the goal of "telling the human story of Lowell" through community-sponsored exhibits, initiatives, and programs. The building at 40 French Street has been refurbished from its previous life as a corporation boarding house block for young ladies working in the textile mills. Dr. Patrick J. Mogan, an educator and public visionary, had faith that Lowell could be a catalyst for citizens to rediscover their roots and a role model for the rest of the country, therefore he was honored with a center bearing his name. We're grateful to the center for letting us help restore this beautiful property.
